Serving as St. John’s minister of music since 2016, Wade Meyers brings his background in classical music and affinity for diverse styles to worship. He is particularly interested in encouraging meaningful congregational singing and building community through song.
Wade Meyers serves as adjunct performing arts faculty at the Holton-Arms School and Wolf Trap; holds two degrees in piano performance; and, has made regular concert appearances since 2004. Supplementary to sacred and classical music, he enjoys continuing study of jazz and Irish traditional music.
Wade and his wife Kim Parillo, a bassist, live in Elkridge and enjoy exploring the Baltimore-DC metropolitan area. When he isn’t working on music, you’re likely to find Wade sipping coffee, rooting for the Washington Spirit, or trying to improve at soccer and skateboarding.
