1st Sunday of Advent, December 1
– Advent Crafts following worship
– Advent Card Decks and Advent Advent Devotionals will be available
Wednesday, December 4
– Free! Dress Rehearsal Performance of “The Snow Queen” from Bel Cantanti Opera, 7:00 pm, in the sanctuary
2nd Sunday of Advent, December 8
– Bag packing for Nurture Our Neighbor
3rd Sunday of Advent, December 15
– Greening the Church after worship – Putting up the Christmas tree and decorations
– Nurture Our Neighbor Food Distribution
4th Sunday of Advent, December 22
– Come and worship as we prepare for Christmas
Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24
– Music at 7:30pm, Worship at 8:00pm
Who We Are
St. John’s is a neighborhood Lutheran Church located in Rockville, Maryland. We belong to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We are here to support our community and welcome believers, doubters and seekers of faith. We welcome people of all religious denominations, races, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions to be part of our congregation.
